世上只有媽媽好

It shouldn’t take a “holiday” for people to let their mom know how important and special they are. She is the reason why you are here in the first place. You should always keep your mom happy and proud every day. She is happiest when you are staying safe, succeeding in life, and taking care of yourself. Don’t disappoint her. Be sure to pay back the love and responsibility of taking care of her when she gets old.

Only mom is the best in this world…

  1. Wow a nursery rhyme, now that was a little unexpected. :P

But yes, one should thank the mother for how much she has taken care of for all those years. Even a simple “thank you” could mean so much to her already.

    Happy (belated) Mother’s Day.

  2. (Okay, maybe citing keywords/categories/tabs weren’t the biggest humorous thing here, but I thought it was kind-of odd that such an important entry would be posted on “Plamo”. :) )

Well, I find it that one can be more appreciative of family (even one’s mother) when they’re away, no matter the circumstances. It just seems more natural to take things for granted when everything’s around. I always wonder if that (with a little spice of returning the favor in some ways on occasion) is the best way to appreciate such an attachment (for lack of a better word) to your life (in general, but especially when it comes to families, including moms). I do agree that one shouldn’t need a holiday to be appreciative, but then again, it’s kind-of like half the holidays here in the U.S.; as if we need a holiday for [insert event here] to be appreciative of it. *shrug*

  3. Siroh32, took me awhile to actually figure out what you were referring to in this post then I realized the category before reading your second post ^^; It’s an auto thing haha. And I agree…hard to appreciate things when you have ’em all around (*cough*Gunpla*cough*) but yea… we shouldn’t need many of the holidays to make people aware of something.

As for the song (inserted another video), it’s probably the first song I ever heard but I don’t know the origin. I think it was (in a movie?) a little kid singing it after his mom died. Very touching. Knowing what the lyrics mean now and the thought of such scenes now brings a bit of tears to my eyes.

  4. Did not expect to find this retro song here…
Z, you looked like a baby girl there, hoho, just kidding XD

It was a really touching movie indeed, the name pops out of my head though.
There’s another song about mother called “鲁冰花”, and it was touching, wonder if you have ever heard it.

  5. Hypnos, even though that’s not me, I actually do think I look a bit like a girl when I was that small ^^; and OMG thank yoU! I’ve been wondering about the title to that song for AGES!
