I am very late on this. Like almost four months late… but I’ll still talk about it anyway just because. So yea… I’ve been writing on this blog for three years already. Three years. I never would’ve thought this blog would lasted this long but here I am… going on to my fourth. Of course, I owe it to every one of you for regularly (be it daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) coming here. As always, I thank you for the support this whole time. Really, I mean it. Thank you.
This blog started during the ‘blogging bloom” period where just about everyone else also started blogging as well. Many quit blogging since then but many more remains to this day and more have joined to contribute their share to the community. The same also applies to the readers as well; as the person who runs this blog, I see all the comments and I do recognize and remember the names of my regulars over time. As time moves on, people move on. I don’t hear from some of my past readers anymore but I also hear from new voices as well. To think back and realize how time passes like this is just… I don’t even know the appropriate word for it. Even though I don’t know any of you by face, I believe there is a sense of camaraderie among all of us here after so long. I just wish those who I don’t hear from anymore (be it bloggers or readers) are doing well in life.
The overall contents here have always been more or less the same- reviews with a ton of photos. Nothing new. Even though I make tweaks here and there, my modeling skills are still extremely basic. Nothing fancy. That has always been my philosophy though- build the model to my satisfaction with the least amount of work required. Usually, the “least amount” can range from flat-out OOB to even painting the kit… ^^;. Still, I like to keep things on the understated side…
Well, here’s to another year *cheers*. I don’t know how much longer this place will last or if it will suddenly disappear into the abyss of the internet but for now… let’s just enjoy things the way they are now.
I’m actually quite happy with the way the blog is right now; I have a regular audience that isn’t small but also not big enough where it attracts trolls and other fanatics. This is quite ideal. Things are usually peaceful around here and I can always count on all of you for valuable feedbacks regarding anything Gundam/Gunpla… and food. Again, I thank you for that.
Now that I’m done rambling, let’s move onto something a little more exciting later… :)
You’re right about the ‘moving on’ bit… hardly have time to gunpla nowadays. But I will be back… eventually :P
Congratulations on your three years!
Interesting reviews, very useful when deciding whether to buy a kit or not.
Ive been gone for awhile o: But Im still here! :3
