Gundam Clear Stickers and Decals

I’ve been noticing this trend for a couple of years now but I think it is finally beginning to get on my nerves. For better or for worse (usually worse), Bandai decided to switch things up with the decals and clear stickers. What I mean is… Before, clear stickers were for the little “caution” and “danger” markings all over the model while the decals were those stylized symbol/insignia/logo/model number markings. Now, the two are switched around; the design markings are on the clear stickers and the little markings are decals. Case in point, MG ReZEL’s decal and clear sticker set above.

Hobby Japan March Issue Get

Picked it up for the GN Sword IV stickers to complete the set… well, I’m still missing the 1/144 Quant but that can wait ^^;. These kind of magazines also contains a wealth of modeling tips and tricks that I can pick up on to try on and hopefully make it a “natural” process for me… though it seems highly unlikely at the moment ^^;.

MG ReZEL Completed… Almost

You know, for some odd reason… whenever I skip a day of blogging, I develop this lazy tendency to not blog for a longggg time. I’m not even sick of blogging, but I just become soooo lazy to post anything even though I have a lot to talk about @_@. Well, I’ve just finished all my essay midterms last week so the last thing on my mind was to type more (blogging) and then I unwind myself of the stress- one of my Japanese friends turned 21 so we took him to “places” that he wasn’t allowed in before that age. No need to go into further details. Anyway…

Master Grade Gunpla Wishlist

All of us have a MG wishlist… or just a Gunpla wishlist in general. Some of the mobile suits we want a model of could take Bandai months to years depending various factors. Some will probably never even see the light of day (barring resin and custom mods). Here’s my MG wishlist that will probably remain just that- a wishlist. Why? No mainstream exposure, relatively obscure (so “not popular”), no easily accessible media depicting them, and most likely cost prohibitive… so this is not your typical “I want MG 00 Raiser/Wing Zero/X/(popular Gundam here)” that will probably materialize at some point. GAF MG ReZEL Group Build

Truth be told, I never understood the point nor appeal of group builds ^^;. Instead of just asking about what it is like, I thought I might as well join one to see for myself xD. And here I am with the MG ReZEL Commander Ver. for the GAF MG ReZEL Group Build. whoo!

MG Zeta Beam Rifle Finished

Haven’t really touched on this until now and I think I’m just about finished refurbishing it. Will add a few more markings on it and matte coat it to seal the deal.

This is a modded MG Deathscythe—> MG Deathscythe Hell which I find impressive not because of how “custom” it looks but rather how “stock” it looks despite being a mod ^^.

Kalé Curry Rice

Got words that there is a relatively new “curry house” (aptly named “Kalé”/カレー; the place turns out to be a cafe) in town so my friends and I thought we could swing by for a bite ^^.
