Presents

I have to admit… I don’t think I really understand the point of gift wrapping presents nicely other than it being a custom. Gift wrapping takes effort, time, dedication and money to make the present look all pretty and everything for the person you are giving it to but at the end, all of that will be ripped, torn off and thrown away. I don’t mind receiving presents but I do wish for my friends to not wrap them up so nicely; I don’t like opening nice presents because I like the way they look and not want to feel like their effort is wasted… hence I do not want to open the present I got last night haha. What’s weird about me is that while I do try to gift wrap my presents for others as nicely as I could, I could not care less if they just rip it immediately after receiving. I’m sure that’s how they think too but that brings me back to my point… why go through the effort then? ^^;.

Dust in Lumix GF1 Screen

Dust is annoying one of humankind’s (at least this side of it) greatest nemesis and we all hate it. Unfortunately, just like cockroaches, it will be one of the left things taking over the world after a nuclear war/apocalypse. Damn it… how the hell they do it?! After putting my GF1 under my lamp, I saw as much as 7 pieces of dust INSIDE MY SCREEN (it’s not shown too clearly so I circled them; that piece of LINT on the left is for real though)! ARGHHHH!!! I can’t clean it out! How the hell did they get in?! WHO? WHAT? WHEN? WHERE? WHY? It haven’t even been six months since I bought this camera ;_;. There are also some very light scratches to the screen but those I don’t mind so much, oddly enough. I have my Canon XSi for over two years and it only has a couple of light scratches but no dust inside the screen at all. Oh well… at least I can’t see the dust when the LCD is on and at least it is not on a more important part of the camera like the sensor. I don’t think a screen protector would help any in this case because the screen glass is slightly raised above the surface and I doubt that’s where the dust enters. I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND!

Sorry… just had to take this post to rant ^^;.

W XTREMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I am almost done reviewing my line-up of SHF Kamen Rider W! Just one more to go… ;). Gotta save the best for last. This time the review is for the SH Figuarts Kamen Rider W CycloneJoker Xtreme. Well… it’s not really a review but more of a photo dump since the figure is more/less the same like all the other W figuarts so there wasn’t much to say >_>.  The more SH Figuarts I review, the more I am able to assess the figure properly (picking out the flaws; nitpick) instead of just gawking at the awesomeness. I’m beginning to get a feel for where the quality standard is for this series so I know what to expect out of it. Hopefully, this can lead to more informative reviews in the future instead of just photos… ^^;
